Building Our Future…
FOR DISTRICT 4
PROUD TO BE ENDORSED BY:
You need a representative that will listen to your needs, fight to make all of Lincoln County better, and earn your respect. For a representative who truly cares about your community, look no further. Chris Bruns is a commonsense, business-minded, conservative County Commissioner—and the best choice for your next State Senator!
• We must reconsider the balance of property, income and sales taxes to reach a lower net tax burden for Nebraskans.
• Nebraska needs to be more competitive with our neighboring states to attract new jobs and reduce “brain drain” among our recent graduates.
• Our untapped economic potential is impressive, but we need to start using it. Economic growth equals better jobs, higher wages, and more opportunities for all.
• I strongly support our first responders and will work with them on practical ways they can improve job performance and morale while providing safety to our citizens.
• We must ensure that criminals are caught, prosecuted, and fully pay their debts to society.
• Reducing recidivism through education and reform programs will keep our citizens safer and save tax dollars by avoiding the “warehousing” of criminals.
• Nebraska’s students must be given the best opportunities available in the United States, period.
• Social engineering projects like CRT have no place being considered by our educators. It’s time to refocus public education on the basics to create a solid educational foundation for our students.
• Parental rights are key to student development, and parents’ voices must be heard. Teachers must also be supported as they work tirelessly for our children.
• We must protect the most vulnerable in our society: the aged, the handicapped, the young, and the unborn. We must also take further steps to improve the foster care program and end human trafficking.
• It’s time to change Nebraska’s historically poor record on mental health care and assistance.
• Nebraska’s outsourcing of HHS services has been a disaster. We can do much, much better.
